Clay County Senior Citizens now have the opportunity to learn a little more information once a month.

The center hosted Body Balance -- Chiropractic and Fitness private practitioner, Dr. Christi Houtz, through the Wabash Independent Living and Learning Center, Terre Haute.

The Wabash Independent Living and Learning Center began its new program at the local center Wednesday, "Dine with the Doc: Brunch in Brazil."

Wabash Independent Living and Learning Center representative Lori Aplin said seniors who want to participate in the monthly program will have an opportunity to hear updates on health issues from area doctors.

Aplin said the event will take place from 10 a.m.-noon during the first Wednesday of each month.

In addition, she said different area sponsors will provide the brunch and door prizes each month.
