Red Cross benefit slated

TERRE HAUTE -- Victory Motorcycles of Terre Haute and Cheeseburger in Paradise will host a Bike Show to benefit flood relief Thursday, July 17, at Cheeseburger in Paradise.

All bikes of all makes are invited to participate.

Anyone riding a bike to the event will qualify for Special VIP Parking, door prizes and a chance in the grand prize drawing for a $125 gas card good at Baesler's Market.

All proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Wabash Valley Chapter for flood relief.

Registration is from 5-7:30 p.m. and there is a $10 registration fee. There are four classes of bikes to be judged, including Victory, Harley, Custom and other. All bikes will be numbered in their class. Voting tickets in denominations of $1, $5, and $20 will be sold to cast votes. First place in each category will receive a plaque and dinner for two at Cheeseburger in Paradise. The runner-up in each category will receive a Victory T-shirt and a free appetizer from Cheeseburger in Paradise. The People's Choice winner will receive a plaque, free appetizer and T-shirt.

Cheeseburger in Paradise will also donate $5 to the Red Cross for each mini-cheeseburger dinner purchased up to the first 200 and the restaurant will donate $5 for every fried pickle appetizer sold. Live music will be provided and door prizes will be handed out throughout the evening.
