The Covered Bridge Art Association's Associate Membership Show is currently on display at the Gallery in Rockville. Gail Overpeck of Speedway; who is a graduate of Herron School of Art, a retired art teacher, and a member of the Watercolor Society of Indiana, judged the Show.
Clay County artists Deborah Ann Anderson of Carbon and Karen A. Levan of Center Point were among the big winners.
The following awards (ribbons and monetary) were presented:

First place ($50):

Second place ($25)
"The Sweet Spot" a watercolor by Christine Ardelean, Avon.
"Marcella's Coat" an oil by Elaine Bagwell, Sidney, Ill.
"Pow-Wow" a collage by Laura Mason, Terre Haute
"Autumn Blaze" a photo by Rob Robbins, Terre Haute
Third place ($10)
"Hot Lips" an oil by Elaine Bagwell, Sidney Ill.
"Night Owl" Pyrography and acrylic on basswood by Monty Jones, Terre Haute
"Meeting of the Minds" a pastel by Jane Lubbehusen, Terre Haute
"Around the Bend" a photo by Rob Robbins, Terre Haute
A reception, honoring the artists, will be given on Sunday, Aug. 3 from 2-4 p.m. This is the last day of the show. Everyone is invited to meet with the artists and enjoy refreshments.
