But when Misner took his camera down to Clay City in early May, the picture he took was a top entry.
The Clay Community Schools Corp. Director of Transportation entered a photograph he took of students getting off buses at Clay City Elementary School into a photo contest for School Bus Fleet Magazine, a trade magazine that discusses the industry.
The picture he entered was named a runner-up in the magazine's operations category.
"This magazine just asks for input," Misner said.
"I was reading through it one day and took my camera down to Clay City and took some pictures."
The picture will be printed in the magazine's August issue in preparation for the upcoming school year.
Misner will also receive a certificate from the magazine.
In addition, Misner said the magazine named CCSC's bus system one of the "Great Fleets Across America" in October 2001.
"I'm probably the only person in the county that reads this magazine," Misner said, jokingly. "It's kind of like our Sports Illustrated."
