Thanks for 'Stamping Out Hunger'

Sunday, July 20, 2008

To the Editor:

Due to the recent flooding, friends and families in this community have suffered greatly.

Although people are starting to rebuild homes and lives after such tragedy, we feel it was time to say "thank you" to those again who sponsored and donated to our "Stamp Out Hunger" food drive May 10, 2008.

Together, our community was able to stock our local pantries with more than 2,400 pounds of food this year for emergencies such as the recent flooding.

A special thanks to all of you who participated and gave so generously. You are not only our customers, but our friends.
