Crash claims life of Clay County man

PATRICKSBURG, Ind. -- A motorcycle accident claimed the life of a Clay County man in Owen County Wednesday.

According to a press release provided by the Indiana State Police, at approximately 11:35 a.m., Wednesday, ISP officials responded to an accident involving Alexander Fulk, 20, Center Point.

According to the release, Fulk lost control of his 1997 Triumph Motorcycle on State Road 246 and Steubenville Road near Patricksburg, after hitting a patch of gravel.

The release stated the motorcycle slid out from underneath Fulk, crossing over into the eastbound lane of SR 246, striking an oncoming eastbound vehicle, driven by Christine Will, Bloomfield.

Fulk was pronounced dead at the scene by officials with the Owen County Coroner's Office.

The crash was investigated by ISP Trooper Mike Adams, who was assisted by Owen County EMS, the Owen County Sheriff's Dept., and the Owen County Coroner's Office.

Alex will be sadly missed. I cannot imagine the broken heart that his parents are being forced to endure. God bless you Pam and Mike.

ive known alex ever since elementary school and he was a great person my prayers go out to him and his family
