Shirley Mae Albright, 72, Terre Haute, formerly of Brazil, died at 2:57 p.m., Wednesday, July 23, 2008, at Terre Haute Regional Hospital.

She was born Dec. 12, 1935, in Brazil, as the daughter of Willard and Verna Thomas Lucas.

She graduated from Van Buren High School. She married Billy R. Albright Oct. 3, 1953.

She was a homemaker, who enjoyed flowers and baking for her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father Willard Lucas, stepfather Leo "Shorty" Fortin, brother Norman Lucas and grandson Erik Lawrence.

She is survived by mother Verna Fortin, husband Billy Albright, daughters Rhonda Lawrence and husband Jim, Toni Johnson and husband Jack, and Sheila Cheek, son William Albright and wife Joni, brother Jeryl Fortin, and grandchildren Derek and Dustin Lawrence, Jennifer and Jeremy Johnson, Brittney Cheek and Michael Albright.

Graveside funeral services will take place at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 26, at Calcutta Cemetery, with Pastor Ernie Rush officiating.
