The Grand Prize winner of the 2008 Crisis Pregnancy Center Baby Photo Contest, which took place at the Clay County 4-H Fair, was Brinley Jo Deakins, daughter of Michael and Carrie Deakins.

Holden Robert Graves, son of Jason and Erin Graves, was named first runner-up while second runner-up was Sandra Jo-Linn Moore, daughter of Veronica Lynn Moore.

All top winners are from Brazil, but the event featured contestants from Carbon, Center Point, Cory, Reelsville, Staunton and Limestone, Tenn. (the baby's mother is a former resident of Brazil).

Honorable mention babies included:

* Fourth -- Kambree Batchelor, daughter of Tori and Troy Batchelor, Brazil,

* Fifth -- Scout Dandelion Adkins, daughter of Tiffany Salin and Clay Adkins, Brazil, and

* Sixth -- Johnny Isaiah James Smith, son of Elizabeth Smith, Brazil.

During the fair, representatives of the Crisis Pregnancy Center posted the top six in random order so that families would know the competition. These top six contestants jockeyed in a close race for the lead.

This year, as family members brought in entry forms to the center, it was emphasized it was not a beauty contest, but rather, a fundraiser for the Crisis Pregnancy Center. Total receipts tallied $1,095.
