Down and Dirty!

Sunday, July 27, 2008

The action at the 4-H Fairgrounds was muddy and hits were furious during the Clay County 4-H Council-sponsored Demolition Derby Saturday evening. More than 35 entries competed to see who would be the last one moving as the large crowd of more than 500 people cheered them on. At the end of each 10-vehicle heat, tractors were brought in to remove the stalled vehicles in preparation for the next round of action.

As a demolition derby fan and friend of the winner (as well as knowing others entered into the race) it would have been nice to see the top finishers names listed. Way to go to all who went for it!!!
