Robert "Bobby" Glenn, 70, Brazil, passed away July 27, 2008, at Union Hospital, Terre Haute.

He was born Oct. 2, 1937, in Brazil, as the son of William Madison Glenn and Lu Ella (Smith) Glenn.

After attending Brazil High School, Bobby worked at Arktex for several years, sold and filled fire extinguishers and was over maintenance at the Clay Community Schools bus garage.

On Aug. 3, 2005, he married Marilyn McCall Modesitt. She survives.

Robert attended Bee Ridge Church, enjoyed karaoke, spending time with people and his dog Sadie.

He was a member of the American Legion Post 2, V.F.W. 1127, Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge and the Masonic Lodge.

He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Thomas Glenn, William Glenn, Frederick Glenn, Elmer Glenn, Olca Glenn, Virgil (Pinkey) Glenn, Dorothy James, Ola Mae Phipps and Bertha Lou Ford.

He is survived by his wife Marilyn Glenn, daughter Robynanne Cash-Howard and husband Mark, Seffner, Fla., son Scott Glenn and grandchildren.

Funeral services will take place at 7 p.m., Wednesday, July 30, 2008, at French Funeral Home, with Pastor Jeff Bridgewater officiating. Visitation will be Wednesday at the funeral home from 4-7 p.m.

At the request of the deceased, cremation will follow.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the Bee Ridge Church.

Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
