If The Brazil Times' latest online poll is any indication, several readers are fans of many of the National Football League teams rather than just rooting for the home squad.

The Indianapolis Colts arrived in Terre Haute last week to conduct training camp for the upcoming NFL season, on the campus of the Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.

In its latest online poll, The Brazil Times asked its online readers, "Are you pumped about Indianapolis Colts camp?"

Readers were given four options to choose from, including:

* Yes. I'll be camping out on US 40,

* I might head over there at least a couple of times,

* Who are the Colts?, and

* No. My favorite team is (fill in the blank).

A total of 214 readers responded to the online column, with 77 (36 percent) saying they might head over to Rose-Hulman's campus a couple of times to see the squad practice.

A total of 53 readers (24.8 percent) asked who the Colts were while a total of 51 readers (23.8 percent) said they had a different favorite NFL team.

In addition, a total of 33 online readers (15.4 percent) said they'd be camping out on US 40.

A total of 12 responders also commented on the poll question by giving their favorite teams.

There were two Chicago Bears' fans in addition to a Dallas Cowboys fan, a Pittsburgh Steeler fan, a Denver Bronco fan and a Washington Redskin fan.

The current Times' poll question deals with the purchasing of school supplies.

The Times is asking its readers, "What is the most expensive item to purchase for students heading into the school year?"

Readers are given eight options to choose from, including:

* Text books,

* Clothing,

* Shoes (gym shoes, etc.),

* Notebooks, folders, pens, pencils, crayons, glue, etc.,

* Kleenex, napkins, paper towels, paper plates, etc.,

* Colored construction paper,

* Calculator, and

* Other.

As always, readers are given the option to comment on the poll question.
