EASTSIDE CHRISTIAN CHURCH
Hello again from Eastside Christian Church. By the time you read this, July will be gone. What a busy month we had. We were fortunate to have a concert with Todd York. Bill and his family went on vacation for two weeks to Florida. It is good to have them back, but our youth pastor, Jonathan Shrader, filled in for Bill and did a great job. But welcome back Bill and family.
One of our young ladies, Taylor Payne, participated in the 4-H princess contest. She did not win, but represented us well.
We want to pray for the following: the Mike Fulk family on the loss of their son; Robert Head, Debbie Sparks, Dave Lewis, and Red Woodrum. We also want to pray for any others having difficulties.
The mens' breakfast will resume the second Saturday of August.
Bill and Jonathan are going to jail to spread God's word.
We also would like to let you know that ANGEL FOOD MINISTRIES is coming to our church in September. If you are interested in this, please feel free to call the church or call 812-448-1030 for more information. Many things are happening at Eastside Christian Church. If you are not attending anywhere else, come be with us and join in the happenings.
Our Sunday school for all ages is at 9:30 a.m. and our worship service is at 10:30 a.m., We do offer a childrens' worship during our 10:30 service, where they learn about God and Jesus on their level.

It is a blessing to watch them. Our church is located directly behind Hardee's on Church St. We hope to see you tomorrow.

Otter Creek Christian Church
Hello there from your friends at the Otter Creek Christian Church.
We hope that everyone has had a wonderful week. It is hard to think that July is gone and August is upon us. Where has the time flown? We would like to extend an invitation to you to come and visit Otter Creek Church this Sunday and receive a blessing that is just waiting for you.
Our verse for the week is from Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the Kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
This simply means that we are to seek God everyday of our lives, make Him our top priority above everything that we have packed into our busy lives. Notice it says His righteousness. Not our righteousness, which are as filthy rags. To seek His righteousness is to be as much like God as we humanly can. When we do this, all things that we have need for will be provided for us. Make God number one in your life, and start living.
I want to thank Brother Rick Cannon for filling in for us while we were out of town.
