Meet and greet!

Tuesday, August 5, 2008

National Night Out was in full swing Tuesday at the Clay County YMCA. The Clay County Sheriffs Department, Brazil City Police Department and the Brazil City Fire Department were among those entertaining children of all ages. St. Vincent Clay County and the Brazil Public Library were on hand to talk to children and hand out gifts and encourage children. The community supported children by providing fun safe entertainment. K-9 officer "Forest" is pictured with his handler Josh Clark and officer Brison Swearingen.

Sorry to say I was not able to attend but I'm sure there was a great turnout this year.

Nice to see Josh and Forest back in action.

Get involved with your neighborhood "Crime Watch" folks, the officers can't be everywhere at all times, our first line of protection is "ourselves" and the authorities would really appreciate your help.

"Stay Safe"
