The second annual YMCA Triathlon is scheduled for Saturday.
The event will take place at Forest Park and a check-in table will be set up in the pavilion.
Those ages 14-15-years-old will begin at 8 a.m., with the 11-13-year-old age group set to begin at 8:30 a.m.
The 8-10-year-old age group will begin at 8:45 a.m., while the 6-7-year-old group will begin at 9 a.m.
The 6-7-year-old division will compete in a 50-yard sack race, a one-half mile bike and a one-half mile run, while the 8-10-year-old division will compete in a 25-yard swim, a one-mile bike ride and a one-half mile run.
The 11-13-year-old division will compete in a 50-yard swim, a two-mile bike ride and a one-mile run, while the 14-15-year-old division will compete in a 100-yard swim, a three-mile bike ride and a 1.5 run.
Those interested may register the day of the event.
Pre-race check-in for all participants must be completed no later than 7:30 a.m., Saturday.
Check-in will run 6:30-7:30 a.m., and it is recommended that the 11-13-year-olds and 14-15-year-olds be ready to check in at 6:30 a.m.
Registration will also take place Friday from 6-7 p.m., at Forest Park, in the pavilion.
Cost is $10 per participant for YMCA members and $15 for non-members.
Late registration for YMCA members will be $15 and $20 for non-members.
All participants will receive a YMCA Youth Triathlon T-shirt at check-in Saturday and a medal at the completion of the race.
All proceeds from the race will go to the YMCA Scholarship Fund, which allows underprivileged children to participate in YMCA programs.
