Earl Robert Yegerlehner and Imogene Margaret Brown were united in marriage on Aug. 15, 1943 at St. Peter's Evangelical and Reformed Church (presently the First United Church of Christ), Clay City.

There will be an open house celebrating their 65th wedding anniversary on Sunday, Aug. 17 from 2-4 p.m. at the Clay City Fire Station, 800 Front St.

The celebration will be hosted by their children: Mary and Larry Sharp, Jan and Don Yegerlehner, Anne and Jim Mishler, and Jeanne and Dean Barnett. The couple have nine grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
