ROCKVILLE -- Join members of the Parke County Historical Society as the organization conducts its annual ice cream social and band concert from 6-8 p.m., Saturday, in the Chautauqua Pavilion at Beechwood Park in Rockville.
The park is located adjacent to United States 41 just south of the intersection of US 36 and 41.
Those interested in attending will be able to enjoy free homemade ice cream, cookies and drinks.
The boy scouts will provide ice cream and Historical Society members will provide the cookies.
"The Fabulous Forties," with its big band sounds, will provide entertainment. Attendees are urged to bring their own lawn chairs.
There is no charge for the evening, but free will offerings will be accepted.
