Marilynn M. Carmichael

Marilynn M. Carmichael, 85, Greencastle, died Friday, Aug. 15, 2008.

She was born June 23, 1923, in Brazil, to Roy Hershall and Meda Marie Wright Herbert.

Mrs. Carmichael was a homemaker.

She married Wilbur Carmichael on Dec. 24, 1944, and he preceded her in death on July 31, 2008.

Her parents and a twin sister, Marguerite M. Herbert, also preceded Marilynn in death.

Surviving are daughter Joyce Coffey and husband Robert, Cedar Park, Texas, and son Joe Carmichael, Greencastle.

Funeral services will take place at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2008, at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m., Monday, Aug. 17, 2008, at the funeral home.
