Mary Anita Riddell Lytle, 92, Brazil, passed away Aug. 17, 2008, at St. Vincent Clay Hospital.
She was born Feb. 11, 1916, in Brazil, the daughter of Clarence D. Riddell and Ethel E. Everly Riddell. She graduated from Van Buren High School, Class of 1934. On Nov. 11, 1942, she married Andrew S. Lytle. He passed away Oct. 28, 1963. She began working at Riddell National Bank following high school, and continued her career there for over 70 years. Mrs. Lytel last served as Vice President of Riddell National Bank and was on the Board of Directors for several years. She was currently an Emeritus member of the Board.
She is survived by her close friends Frank and Linda Farmer, three nephews Alan Schmidt, Andrew Schmidt and Robert Schmidt, one cousin Lawrence Ring and wife Annette and other extended family, including Elaine Croy.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., at French Funeral Home, with Rev. Greg Puttmann officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Highland Lawn Cemetery.
