Major Michael S. Lock retires from the Air Force

Major Lock was born on Nov. 15, 1965, in Madison IN. He graduated from Brazil High School, in 1984. He lettered in wrestling and was a Key Club member. His retirement ceremony was held on July 18, 2008 at Langley Air Force Base, Va.

After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Indiana Air National guard and arrived at Lackland Air Force Base in May 1985 for basic training and Security Specialist Training.

Major Lock has been married to the former Michelle D. Pierce for 22 years. They have three children, Michael, 21-years-old; Megan, 20 and Miranda, 15. His father is the Reverend Steve Lock, his mother is the late Betty Lock. He has a younger brother Brian "Buck" Lock.
