Patrons to Forest Park will notice an addition to the playground equipment.

A new playground set is being assembled and will soon be in place for the younger children.

"This equipment is geared to the two-four-year-old children," Brazil Parks Board Vice President Ruthann Jeffries told The Brazil Times. "Each train-car does something different, and they are made out of plastic and is assembled so that parents will be able to keep a close eye on the children."

A smaller unit will be placed in Babe Wheeler Park after the installation of the equipment at Forest Park.

"We are hoping that this gives parents another option with their children, now they won't have to chase the little ones all over the bigger equipment."

The Brazil Parks Board is hoping to be able to order another car for Forest Park.

The equipment should be set up between the pavilion and the wooden playground.

"Though we have swings that are already in place for the younger children, this will give them something else to play on," Jeffries said.

Forest Park is something the residents of Brazil should be proud of.

Now all it needs is a little fence and a couple of benches for parents. This is going to be great.
