It's time for parents to go back to school.
North Clay Middle School will be holding the first Back to School Night(s) for parents on Aug. 25-27.
"This gives parents an opportunity to ask questions to the teachers," North Clay Middle School Principal Jeff Allen told The Brazil Times. "It gives us the opportunity to establish a network for communication with the family and will allow for a better relationship with the student."
Parents are encouraged to attend, learn more about team activities, midterms, grade reports, grading scale, parent volunteering and the school website.
"The goal of the event is to inform parents and give them a face to put with the name," Allen said.
The agenda for all three evenings is:
* 6:30 p.m. -Meet in the commons/Introduction
* 6:45 p.m. - Break into academic teams
* 7:30-8 p.m. Free to visit classrooms and tour building
* 8 p.m.- Building closes
"We hope to establish communication with the parents and help to make this a successful school year for everyone," Allen said.
