TERRE HAUTE -- Eighth District Congressional candidate Greg Goode announced today that the Wabash Valley Right to Life organization has endorsed his candidacy. Chairman Jennifer Buell stated that the decision to endorse Goode was based on his views regarding abortion and euthanasia, which agree with the protection of human life that the Right to Life organization strives to uphold.
"No other issue is as fundamental as the respect for human life," Goode stated. "As your next Congressman I will do my utmost to protect the unborn, and would oppose any stem cell research legislation that requires killing human embryos. In addition, I would never support the use of tax dollars to promote or pay for abortions."
Goode continued, "It is an honor for me to obtain this endorsement, and I would be proud to carry the pro-life values we share in the 8th district on to the House of Representatives in Washington."
Goode previously served on the staffs of two former United States Congressmen, and resides in Terre Haute with his wife Leslie and their three year old son.
Wabash Valley Right to Life is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to protecting the sanctity of human life.
They cooperate with other pro-life organizations in serving Vermillion, Parke, Vigo, Clay, and Sullivan counties.
