MDA still in need of volunteers

TERRE HAUTE -- The area Muscular Dystrophy Association is gearing up for the 43rd annual Jerry Lewis Labor Day Telethon, aired locally on WTWO.

MDA currently has openings for supervisory and shift workers to assist with the production of the Labor Day Telethon taking place at Ivy Tech Community College in Terre Haute.

The following is a list of positions available:

* Routing/Verification Supervisor -- responsible to check incoming pledge forms for legibility, making calls to large donors to verify pledges and getting the forms to the mail room for processing. Will oversee volunteers,

* Commissary Supervisor -- must organize pick up of donated food around Terre Haute and coordinate with volunteers to have it back on the set as scheduled by MDA office,

* Mail room supervisor -- responsible for seeing that pledges taken on the set are correctly placed in mailing envelopes, batched and organized for mailing on Labor Day evening. Will oversee volunteer as well, and

* Registration supervisor -- will oversee all functions of registration, including greeting all guests, routing volunteers to stations, completing registration form and compiling a mailing list for thank you's after the show on provided forms.
