CENTER POINT -- The Clay County Historical Society will meet Sept. 8, in Center Point, at 6 p.m., at the Masonic Lodge on Main Street.
The meeting has been moved due to the Labor Day Holiday Monday.
Jeff Koehler and Don Ream will be hosts as the society takes a step back in time when Center Point was a busting town, which included a hotel, flour mill, drug store and grocery stores.
Those attending will have the opportunity to visit the hardware store and genealogy society with some added surprises along the way.
Rides will be available for the handicapped and refreshments will be served after the tour at the Masonic Lodge.
The meeting is open to the public and guests are welcome.
