I would like to comment on something that I feel is unfair I do not live in Brazil but am forced to do buisness there and any more it is like running a gauntlet of speed traps like the one on Water Works Road by Craig Park this is a joke I had not had a ticket for 26 years and have gotten 2 in 2 years on this road 1 at 9:00pm and one at 4:00am both coming and going to work it is bad enough driving to and from work without worring about running a little over the speed limit by a park no one is using at those time of the day. And to top it off they will not give a warning only a Ticket how about a little break and there were 2 cars hiding out of sight WHY 2 CARS do they get lonley? I just feal we could have them do something more important like catch some real bad guys not watch a 25mph zone on a empty park !

I look forward to the fall because it's a great time to hop on the motorcycle and head out into the country and enjoy the scenery. I especially like riding through Brown County when the leaves change, it's one of my favorite ways to relax.

That and getting out with the kids and walking through the state parks.

Harvest season when we get to pick all of the wonderful produce the earth has blessed us with from the summer growing season.

Watching the harvest moon over the golden corn fields.

Going on hay rides.

Camp fires and roasting hot dogs at halloween parties.

Watching all the trees compete for the most colorful display of leaves.

Watching the squirrels gather and bury their fall treasures to eat when the snow comes.

Seeing the deer grow their winter fur and antlers and watch the doe's parade across the empty corn fields (and roads).

Gathering bittersweet, foxtail and ornimental weeds for fall decorations.

And last but not least...starting to burrow in for the winter ahead.

The most exciting part of fall is Marching Band. This year's show is going to be another great one. "Hat's Off" to all the band members and the staff.

I will enjoy the Covered Bridge Festival and the Colts game and being with my family and friends and I will enjoy the cooler weather outside and that is a perfect time to camp out in the back yard and go fishing

The best thing about fall is that the temepratures become tolerable. Fall is my favorite season with winter being a close second.

I also enjoy seeing the leaves turn colors.

The brilliance of color as Mother Nature paints the trees, and the coolness of the brisk morning in the mountains. While I may miss the change of the seasons in Brazil, New Mexico does have its advantages.
