He was born Nov. 13, 1922, in Putnam County.
He was a graduate of Cloverdale High School and served his country in the United States Army during World War II, including the Battle of the Bulge.
Mr. Cradick retired from IBM and was a member of Temple Lodge No. 47, Greencastle, where he was a Mastor Mason.
He wife, Mary Emma Cradick, preceded him in death on July 4, 2000.
Surviving are sons Jerry W. Cradick and wife Candy, Brazil, and Tim D. Cradick and wife Iris, Fillmore, granddaughters Nicole Cradick and Courtney Cradick, and great-grandchildren Kayla Evans and Skylar Cradick.
Masonic Services will take place Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, at 1 p.m., at Hopkins-Rector Funeral Home, 703 E. Washington St., Greencastle. Burial with V.F.W. Honors will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
Visitation if from 11 a.m. until time of services Wednesday.
