Northview boys' cross country runs second at Terre Haute South

TERRE HAUTE -- Northview's Conor Strain ran a strong race for the Knights in a three-way meet with Terre Haute South and North Central on Tuesday night, earning a win in 17:19.

Terre Haute South was the team winner, placing five runners in the top-eight to secure a 26 to 42 win over the Knights with the T-Birds in third with 66 points.

Ryan Lutes came in sixth for the Knights, running a 19:02 with Tanner Brown scoring 10th in 20:07. James Trackwell placed 13th in 20:38 with Kyle Yocom in 15th in 20:57. Christian Swan was 22nd overall for the Knights in 24:42.

North Central was led by Ethan Jacob's third-place run in 18:21.

Results of the girls' meet were unavailable at press time.
