TERRE HAUTE -- Think you've got what it takes?
The Comedic Challenge with the Vigo County Lifeline is looking for the best local comedian in the Wabash Valley. The winner will open for a headling comedian at the Laughlines for Lifeline fundraiser event Oct. 24
The battle will begin on Friday, at the Dawg House, 830 Oak St., Terre Haute starting at 8 p.m. Contestants are asked to prepare a 7-10 minute routine showcasing your best PG-13 rated material and don't forget to invite friends and family.
The audience will be able to pick their favorite comedian for $1 a vote and their votes will determine the top three performers. The general public will be able to vote on the winner by visiting a designated website and viewing a clip of their performance.
Doors open at 7 p.m. and registration will take place from 7-8 p.m. with a $10 entry fee, a cash bar is available. Admission for family and friends is only $5 per person for a night of comedy and entertainment.
