A win is a win and the Northview Knights will take it.
On Tuesday, the NHS golf squad improved to 9-5 overall after taking out South Vermillion, South Putnam and Rockville.
But the Knights needed a tiebreaker to win the match.
Both the Knights and Wildcats came in with four top scores adding up to 203. However, Northview's Hayley Miller's 56 won the match for the Knights.
NHS coach Josh Trout purposely took his team out of its comfort zone Tuesday, having the match played on the back-9.
"It turns out we need a little more experience (on the back-9)," Trout said. "They need a little change of scenary.
"Overall, as a team, we did not have a good night."
Savannah Pursell led the Knights, firing a 48.
"I thought Savannah played really well," Trout said of the senior. "She's been striking the ball real well and hitting it very consistent."
Other scores for the Knights included Mandy Thomlinson and Olivia Oehler both with 51s, Alli Trout with a 53, Allie Melega with a 55, Miller's 56, Ali Rentschler with a 65 and Shelby French with a 66.
South Vermillion's Bailey Craft won medal honors with a 40.
South Putnam was paced by Heather Hughes' 41 and Rockville was led by Jerica Carrington's 60.
Northview will host North Central (Farmersburg) and Sullivan today, beginning at 4:30 p.m. The Knights then face Greencastle and Crawfordsville at home Thursday for senior night, also starting at 4:30 p.m.
