TERRE HAUTE -- The United Way of the Wabash Valley has already started conducting a survey of community needs.
The survey will conclude Sept. 25, 2008.
Random telephone calls will be made throughout Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo counties in Indiana and Clark County in Illinois, between the hours of 5-9 p.m., Sundays through Thursdays.
Students from Indiana State University will be placing the calls.
Those who receive the calls are asked to help out their community by answering questions.
Survey results will be shared with the community and no solicitations for money will be made.
