Grand opening!

Mario Bros. restaurant celebrated the grand opening of its outdoor eating area Monday. Those in attendance included (front, from left) restaurant employees Fernando Pacheco, Mario Martinez, Francisco Martinez, Sylvia Arismendi, Aurelia Arismendi, Vertina Arismendi, (back) Brazil City Council member Bill Lovett, Clay County Chamber of Commerce members Jerry Laue, Les Miller, Chad Zaucha, Brazil City Police Dept. Chief Terry Harrison, Chamber Board President Ted Paris, chamber member Mike Peterson, and city council members Sam Glover and Pat Heffner.

what a difference that one building makes in the appearance of Brazil. Way to go, I can't wait to eat dinner in your outdoor area!!!

I thought that the land was an enviornmental hazard. Is it worth the clean up to put it in? I think that is a Brazil rumor!!!

I believe the old Sherwin Williams lot was bought by the bank on Jackson Street a long time ago and they are moving up to US40. I think that was the reason that Sherwin Williams moved in the first place. The bank had been trying to acquire the Eastside Tavern for some time.
