Hamilton Center, Inc. Announces Staff Accomplishments

Hamilton Center, Inc., Clay County, is proud to announce several staff accomplishments which enhance services to consumers.

"I am so pleased with the quality of staff we have at our office," said Dr. Kathy Ocampo, Program Manager.

"Not only did our staff come to us with solid credentials and experience, but they have continued their education which will benefit our consumers and the community."

Melissa Bass, a therapist at Hamilton Center, has recently received her Master's in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana.

She is currently working towards receiving her license in Clinical Social Work.

Bass received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from Indiana State University, Terre Haute, and worked for two years as a case manager at Hamilton Center before being promoted to a therapist

Teah Doyle recently joined Hamilton Center as a school based therapist in Clay County.

Doyle received her undergraduate degree in Psychology and Religion from Mary Hardin Baylor, Belton, Texas, and her Master's degree in Biblical Counseling from Dallas Theological Seminary, Dallas, Texas.

Prior to joining the Clay County office, Doyle worked three and a half years at Hamilton Center's Child & Adolescent services division in Terre Haute.

Rhonda Earl, a therapist at Hamilton Center, recently passed her licensure exam and is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.

Earl received her undergraduate degrees in Psychology and Human Services from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College, and her Master's degree in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University, Terre Haute.

Prior to joining Hamilton Center, Earl worked for Educational Family Services as a Human Service Worker serving the West Terre Haute area.

She has been working at Hamilton Center's Clay county office since 2006.

Leah Powell, Ph.D., a Psychologist at Hamilton Center, recently received her Certification as a Health Service Provider in Psychology, (HSPP) from the State of Indiana's Health Professions Bureau. Dr. Powell received a Master's degree in Agency Counseling and a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Indiana State University, Terre Haute.

She completed an American Psychological Association accredited internship at Hamilton Center in 2003 and was then promoted to a Therapist and later a Psychologist.

Prior to joining Hamilton Center, Dr. Powell worked for six years as a Therapeutic Family Caseworker at the Vigo County Homes for Children.

Dr. Powell will be seeing clients with Medicare and private insurance.
