How to purchase photographs

Monday, September 15, 2008

Owning pictures taken by The Brazil Times is now as easy as clicking on the picture itself.

The Brazil Times now is offering registered online users the opportunity to purchase photographs through www.mycapture.com.

"It's designed so that all the photos that we take are readily available to the public," Times' General Manager Lynne Llewellyn said.

Registered users online with The Brazil Times have the option of purchasing the photographs by simply clicking on the picture.

When users click "Order this photo," they are taken to the mycapture.com online store and are given several options to choose from regarding purchase.

There are several items users may have the photograph, including matte prints, glossy prints, picture mugs, mouse pads, magnets, commemorative plaques and T-shirts.

Prices range from $7-$80.

When online users click on the photograph to purchase it, they are taken to the mycapture story. Online users then have the option to see what the actual products look like.

"I think it's a neat idea," Llewellyn said. "The novelty items will be fun."

The purchased items are then added to a shopping cart.

Following the order purchase, The Brazil Times will be contacted via e-mail by mycapture and will provide the actual photo.
