Marcus L. Reik Jr.

Marcus L. Reik Jr., 72, Terre Haute, passed away Sept. 23, 2008.

He was born April 7, 1936, in Indianapolis, to Marcus L. and Mary (Johnson) Reik Sr.

He is survived by sister Katherine L. Smith and husband Herbert, Bel Air, Md., companion Donna Carlyle, children Donald Lee Reik, Camden, Ohio, Ronald Lewis Reik, Terre Haute, Jerry Allen Reik, Brazil, Jeannie Marie Evans and husband Thomas, Evansville, and Nancy Louise Evans and husband Randy, Evansville.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife Connie Biggs Reik. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial gathering will take place at 1 p.m., Saturday, at Maryvale Apartments, West Terre Haute. Cremaion has been chosen. Burial will be at Roselawn Memorial Park.
