Ruth A. Randall, 78, Brazil, passed away at her residence Sunday, Oct. 5, 2008, after an apparent heart attack.
She was born June 3, 1930, in Brazil, to Anton and Sophia (Egener) Massinon.
She graduated from Brazil High School with the class of 1948.
On April 24, 1953, she married Jack B. Randall.
Most of her life, she spent raising her family. She was an avid auto racing and Chicago Cubs fan, but most of all, she was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Jack, granddaughter Bethany Randall, sister Anne Shaw, and brothers Robert "Pete" Massinon and Francis Massinon.
Survivors include daughter Denise Weltzin, Terre Haute, and son Andy L. Randall and wife Myca, Plainfield, grandchildren Valerie Combs, Brandenburg, Ky., Troy Weltzin, Brazil, and Griffin Randall, great-grandchildren Jarett Combs and Adrienne Combs, both of Kentucky, former son-in-law Steve Weltzin, as well as several nieces and nephews.
At her request, graveside services will be conducted at Roselawn Memorial Park Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at 3 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend.
