Shortly after 3:30 p.m. today, Brazil City Police Chief Dave Archer told The Brazil Times the suspect from Tuesday's armed robbery at the Marathon Gas Station is in custody and being processed at the Clay County Justice Center.

Although details are limited, Archer said Brazil resident Charles Henry Higginbotham, 53, was taken into custody at a Brazil residence this afternoon for his alleged involvement in the robbery.

That's GREAT, quick work too! Maybe Chief Archer and the officers can be superhumans' lets see, direct bridge traffic, do paperwork, go to court, take calls, follow leads, and all the other duties that go along with the pretty much thankless job officers have to do [ and love it anyway ] Oh, and I forgot attend council meetings with one arm out the door directing traffic
