The riding group is inviting all to take part in a benefit ride for Brazil's 138th Quartermaster National Guard Soldiers and families.
"We came up with the idea about two months ago," American Legion Riders Secretary/Treasurer Debbie Smith said.
"It's just a lot of people wanting to do something to benefit the soldiers and their families. They're making a sacrifice so we want to help out."
It's been a busy couple of months for the legion riders.
In September, the riders conducted a benefit ride for the American Red Cross and they had another ride earlier this month for the American Legion.
Smith said registration for the event is scheduled to begin at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, at the American Legion Post No. 2, 1015 S. Forest Ave., Brazil.
The first motorcycle will head out at 11:30 a.m. She added all vehicles are welcome on the trip, which will last approximately 100 miles.
Smith added directions for the trip will be handed out during registration and there will be several stops along the way, including pitstops at legions in Terre Haute, Sullivan and Shelburn, among others.
Smith said following Saturday's trip, those attending are invited to the American Legion for food, door prizes and T-shirts. Entertainment will also be provided.
"We're growing," Smith said. "We're doing more rides. I'm guessing next year we may do a ride a month.
"Whenever there is a need and just for fun."
