Tina Hillman VanDeVanter Wilson, 43, Stilesville, died Oct. 18, 2008.
She was born Nov. 6, 1964, in Beech Grove, the daughter of Kenneth Acton and Merline Parks.
She graduated from Monrovia High School in 1983. She had recently earned her certification to be a veterinarian technician and was employed at St. Francis Animal Hospital, Camby.
Prior to that, she worked for a number of years at the Indianapolis Star/News and for Martin James, CPA, Mooresville.
Tina loved animals, especially her dog Sebastian, and was a big fan of Tony Stewart and the Indianapolis Colts.
She was preceded in death by her father Kenneth Acton, and husbands Brian Hillman and Jeff VanDeVanter.
She is survived by her husband Tracy Wilson, Stilesville, children Jason Hillman, Clairmont, and Heather Fauvergue, Poland, mother Merline Parks, Coalmont, brother Tim Acton (Patty), Mooresville, grandchildren Caden and Jordan Hillman, Beau Fauvergue, and Braden Hillman, and nieces and nephews Angela Pugh, Stephanie Hawkins, Connie Cyphers, Sarah Cyphers and Christopher Farrell.
Services will take place at 10 a.m., Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Carlisle and Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville. Burial will take place at White Lick Cemetery, Mooresville.
Visitation is from 4-8 p.m., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family to benefit her grandson Braden Hillman, who was born prematurely.
