She was born in Indianapolis, to Arthur and Marjorie (Lunsford) Dickison Sept. 3, 1942. She married the love of her life Stephen E. Mustard on March 5, 1960. Brenda worked at several area restaurants as a waitress and grill cook. She also worked at Columbia House and Quaker Maid in Terre Haute for several years. She enjoyed listening to Elvis, watching Elvis movies and collecting Elvis memorabilia. She also enjoyed watching Walker Texas Ranger, making and collecting crafts, and playing Bingo.
She was preceded in death by her parents, grandparents and sister-in-law Rhonda Dickison and a nephew Kevin Kohler.
Survivors include her children Penny Mustard and Donald Swaner, Indianapolis, Stephen Mustard and Bill Johnson and fiancÚ Shelly Deal, grandchildren Paula Cooper and husband Adam, Brazil, Brandy Harrington, Terre Haute and Jamie Harrington and fiancÚ William Taylor, Indianapolis, Christopher Mustard, Brazil, Amber Stump, Gavin Johnson, Brazil and Jacob Trent, step-grandchildren Aubrey and Hayden Deal and Makalynn Allsup, close friends of Brenda: William Skelton and Eric Rawley, five great grandchildren, siblings: Jean Brown and husband Robert, Brazil, Fred Dickison, Marvin Dickison and wife Brenda and Harry Dickison as well as several nieces and nephews and loved by many.
Services will be at French Funeral Home Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at 1 p.m., with Rev. Tony Alstott officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. until time of services.
