U.S. Marshals arrest local man

Tuesday, October 21, 2008

TURNER -- Around 6 p.m., Monday, members of the United States Marshal Service's Fugitive Apprehension Task Force, Indiana State Police Department and the Clay County Sheriff's Department served an outstanding arrest warrant on a fugitive outside a Turner residence.

According to documents provided to The Brazil Times, Galen Dale Boyll was avoiding arrest on an outstanding warrant issued by Clay County Circuit Court for failure to appear on original charges of dealing methamphetamine, possession of methamphetamine, receiving stolen property, possession of chemical reagents or precursors with intent to manufacture and a habitual offender charge.

When located Monday, Boyll, 45, Turner, was found to be in possession of an undisclosed amount of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia. He was taken into custody and booked into the Clay County Justice Center on the warrant and additional preliminary charges of dealing methamphetamine and possession of methamphetamine.

ISP Sgt. Richard C. Effner confirmed the case is being turned over to the Clay County Prosecutor's Office for review and the potential for additional charges.

Jail officials confirmed Tuesday evening that Boyll should remain incarcerated while awaiting formal arraignment per the court calendar.

I wonder whose house he was visiting in Turner. Narcotics Anonymous works, I hope he gets help!

I am suprised that there was not any other arrests at that time concidering where he was found. Yes NA works but so does God and I think that he needs to cry out to God for help.
