"Just say no!"

That chant could be heard Tuesday morning as some fifth-grade students across the county marched from the YMCA down United States 40 to the Clay County Courthouse.

The march was the beginning of Red Ribbon Week in Clay County.

The fifth-grade students had the opportunity to tour the courthouse and the Clay County Justice Center.

Clay County Circuit Court Judge Joe Trout read a proclamation declaring this week Red Ribbon Week as the students readied for their tours.

Clay City and Northview High School Students Against Destructive Decisions (S.A.D.D.) handed the fifth-graders balloons and following a countdown from 10, the balloons launched, filling the sky with red.
