BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) -- Indiana will stage a "Haunted Hall of Hoops" scrimmage and Halloween party for children on Friday night.
IU players will pass out candy and sign autographs for a half-hour before the scrimmage in Assembly Hall, and there will be a costume parade at halftime, new coach Tom Crean said Monday.
"We want to have another opportunity to get our kids playing in front of fans," he said of the Halloween promotion. "We also hope to provide families with a fun and safe activity and give everyone a chance to get to know our players better."
Doors to Assembly Hall will open at 7 p.m.
Indiana plays its first exhibition game Nov. 7 against Anderson.
