Melody Makers prepare for performances

The Melody Makers of Clay County is a chorus of ladies who meet each Monday evening to rehearse music tht is to be presented to the community and surrounding area throughout the year. Each year in June they do a solo performance at Purdue University and participate in a state wide organization, called the Melody Makers of Indiana.

Members of the group are: accompanist Jerry Morgan, director Doris Pell, Betty Herbert, Ann DeLorme, Brenda Oeding, Ann Stigler, Darenda Dyer, Virginia Spelbring, Shirley Koehler; (second row) Linda Chaney, Robbie Mitchell, Doris Hakman, Brenda Purcell, Carolyn Freeman, Carroll Harden; (third row) Janice Modesitt, Jeannie McMichael, Julie Maurey, Judy Stark, Evelyn Nevins, Theada Morris.
