Local radio station CROCK 92.7-FM will begin airing ESPN's Mike and Mike in the mornings from 6-10 a.m., starting Monday.
The show currently airs on local ESPN radio affiliate 1130 and 1300 AM.
The AM signals are required by the FCC to lower power during hours of darkness, which gives the signal a smaller coverage area than during the day.
The stations do not reach full broadcast power until daylight, which means during the winter months, it is more difficult to hear the show.
"Mike and Mike have grown so much in popularity that we wanted to give them a larger geographic area to be heard in locally," said Crossroads Communications General Manager Doug Edge. "We have received a lot of positive feedback since our announcement to simulcast them on the CROCK 92.7-FM."
Mike and Mike features co-hosts Mike Greenberg and former NFL player Mike Golic, a regular on ESPN2's NFL Live, Mike and Mike in the Morning is ESPN's personality-driven sports talk morning show.
The show combines a mix of live guest interviews, analysis, breaking sports news coverage and opinion.
Mike and Mike airs on more than 350 stations around the country. All four hours of the show are simulcast on ESPN2, reaching 93 million homes. The "Best of Mike and Mike" airs weekday afternoons on ESPN.
The CROCK 92.7-FM will resume its mix of country and rock following the show.
"Sports programming and themed shoes fit well with country and rock music fans," Edge said.
The radio station also announced in August it would begin airing Indiana State University women's basketball games this season through an agreement with Nelligan Sports Marketing.
