Harold was born Nov. 18, 1924, in Clay County, as the son of Arthur and Mayme Rodgers Moore.
He was a hard-working man who lived for Christ. He loved fishing and playing horseshoes. He worked in construction and was also a self-employed carpenter. He ministered for several years in the Apostolic Faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Tom, Jack, Bill and Eugene Moore, sisters Mary Ellen and Rosie and grandson Brian Marlow.
He is survived by his wife Carolyn Hutcheson Moore, sons Harold, Fred and wife Brenda, David and wife Marcey, and Frank and wife Julie, daughters Bonnie Perkins and husband Mike and Janet Marlow. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, brothers Larry, Virgil and Bob Moore and sisters Marie Abernathy, Agnes Hoggatt, Jane Decker, Faye Brown and Jodie Lynch.
Visitation will be 10 a.m.-noon, Saturday, at Moore Funeral Home. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, with Brother Gerald Hoggatt and Brother Mitch Cheatham officiating. Burial will follow at Clearview Cemetery.
