On Sunday, the United Way of the Wabash Valley will kick off a 10-day live online auction called Bid United.
The Bid United Online Marketplace will feature merchandise and services from local businesses.
Using auction-style bidding, consumers can place bids on these items and if at the end of the auction, they are the highest bidder, they win. All transactions will be processed online using secure payment methods, or in person at the United Way Office.
Window-shopping has already begun at www.bidunited.org. Fifty-seven packages may be bid on, including Colts tickets, Indy Racing Experience, Indianapolis Motor Speedway treasure chest, golf packages, luggage, billboard space and more.
The auction will end at 8 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18. All proceeds will go to benefit the United Way of the Wabash Valley.
For more information, call United Way of the Wabash Valley Resource Development Director Kathy Barker at 812-235-6287 or e-mail kathy.barker@unitedway.org.
