She was born June 13, 1910, in Poland, the daughter of Edward Franklin Strauch and Clara Margaret Kattman Strauch.
She graduated from Bowling Green High School in 1928.
She married Robert Lester Hauser on Feb. 26, 1936. He preceded her in death on Jan. 27, 1978.
Mary was a long time member of the Zion United Church of Christ in Poland and in earlier years she served on the Women's Guild and the Mothers Class at the church. She also was active in the Washington Township Circle Home Ec Club.
She will be missed by her loving children, daughter Martha Rose Hauser Neville and husband Joe, Colorado Springs, Colo., and son Kenneth Lee Hauser and wife Eleanor, Greencastle, one granddaughter Mary Neville Roberts and husband Derek and two great-grandchildren Grace Rose Roberts and Luke Joseph Roberts, all of Palmer Lake, Colo., nieces and nephews Harold Neal Keiser and wife Sue, Howard Norman Keiser and wife Carolyn, Forest Allan Keiser and wife Dorothy, Arlene May Long, Sharon Joan Strauch, Lucy Strauch and other extended family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, nephew Herman Strauch and nephew by marriage Charles Long.
Services will be held Saturday, at 11 a.m., at Schoppenhorst Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Poland Zion Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 5-8 p.m., and again Saturday prior to services.
