INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Indiana defensive lineman Jammie Kirlew was the only Indiana or Purdue player honored on the first- or second-team all-Big Ten squads on Monday.
Kirlew, a redshirt junior, made the first team for both the coaches and the media. He finished second in the Big Ten with 10.5 sacks and was second in the league with 19.5 tackles for losses. Kirlew led the Big Ten with 15 tackles for losses in conference games.
Indiana punter Chris Hagerup received honorable mention from the media.
Purdue's Anthony Heygood, Greg Orton and Kory Sheets recieved honorable mention from both the media and coaches. David Pender and Torri Williams got honorable mention from the coaches, and Ryan Kerrigan and Desmond Tardy received the same from the media.
