INDIANAPOLIS (AP) -- Football coach Ty Hunt of Class A champion Indianapolis Ritter has been placed on administrative leave for undisclosed reasons.
Raiders athletic director Jim Martin tells The Indianapolis Star there's no timetable for his return, although he is still the school's football coach.
The 37-year-old Hunt completed his third season as coach at Ritter. The Raiders were 15-0 this season and beat Sheridan 34-27 on Friday for the championship.
The Associated Press left a telephone message seeking comment from Ritter principal Jo Hoy.
