This modern home was finished in June of 2006. This new style, knob hill brick home was built by a longtime Clay County resident and family friend, Larry Lucas.
It features three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, and a large attached garage. Larry also had built the family's entertainment center in the main living area and several of the end tables scattered throughout the home.
The gorgeous maple hardwood floor, crown molding, and trim in this home was also put into place by Larry. Another interesting fact about the woodwork is that it all came from CC Cook and Son Lumber Company, based just outside of Brazil, which has been owned by Craig's family for many years. The kitchen holds some gorgeous cabinetry and to-die-for countertops.
The Cook home is festively decorated for the holidays, with the help of another family friend Alyssa Rissler. There is a gorgeous homemade wreath in the main entrance along with a Santa and Reindeer theme throughout the open concept living area and kitchen. Around the corner, in the girls' living room they have a gorgeous Christmas tree with lots of snowmen ornaments and fun, festive extra treats.
Displayed in Alli's room is a cute, purple colored Christmas tree to match her girly pink walls and decorations. In Briana's room is a lovely white tree decorated with bright ornaments to compliment her fun, multicolored bedroom walls.
The Cook home has a wonderful upbeat, comfy feel, sure to please everyone.
